Michael Anthony is a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern, born and raised in Elmira, NY. While in New York, Michael earned a Masters of Arts Degree in Psychology from Keuka College in 2010 and utilized his passion for helping others in Group Homes and as a Job Coach for individuals with developmental disabilities.
In 2011, Michael relocated to sunny Saint Petersburg and continued to work in community based mental health as a Child Safety Case Manager and Client Intake Assessor. Due to his excitement about the mental health field, Michael returned to school and gained his Master of Social Work from Fordham University.
Michael’s strengths lie in his genuine, approachable demeanor and empathetic style. He knew relationship therapy was a calling by the vast number of friends and family members reaching out to him during their own relationship hardships. Michael truly feels passionate about offering his services in a warm and understanding manner.
When not working, Michael enjoys going on adventures with his wife, playing music, and teaching martial arts. The latter has led him to study Eastern and Spiritual philosophies that can be applied to daily living and relationship empowerment. Michael strengthened his peacekeeping and conflict-resolution skills while playing in a touring band!
