Leila Daugherty, Ed.S.

Licensed Certified School Psychologist

Leila Daugherty is a Licensed Certified School Psychologist. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Indiana University and her Education Specialist Degree in Child, Family, and School Psychology from the University of Denver. 

Leila’s philosophy is that all people have the right to their fullest potential and access to an education despite challenges. She primarily works with children and adolescents by evaluating their strengths and needs using a comprehensive and solution focused model. She has over a decade of experience providing psychoeducational evaluations to identify giftedness, learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury and intellectual disabilities. 

As a parent of two boys and spouse to a 27-year Veteran from the Army Special Forces, Leila understands the challenges that come with military lifestyle, and the impact on the family. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and new puppy. During her free time, she loves running, traveling, reading, and boating.
