We are an out-of-network provider and do not directly bill insurance for treatment; however, our services may still be covered in full, or in part, depending on your health insurance or employee benefit plan. If you have a PPO, we can provide a “super bill” that you could submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Coverage varies depending on your plan, so please check with your insurance provider to learn more on what your plan offers.

Questions to ask your insurance carrier:

  • Does my insurance include mental health benefits?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • Is pre-approval required from my primary care physician?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

We are available for sessions Monday – Saturday. We offer early morning, daytime, and evening sessions to accommodate school and work schedules.

We can discuss fees together during our initial consultation.

We have limited spots for whom we can slide our fees. These spots are reserved for people in specific circumstances that are based on true financial need. It is important to us to be able to provide high quality treatment to those who can’t afford our full fees.

Both individual and couples’ sessions are 50 minutes long. Especially at the beginning of therapy, a weekly commitment is necessary to gain traction toward meeting your goals. When you feel we have begun to make positive progress, we can begin to discuss decreasing the frequency you come to therapy.

You can call us at 727-437-0980 or send an email to [email protected]. You can also submit an appointment request through the website. Please note, we try to get back to schedule clients and talk briefly about the issues you are facing as soon as possible. We will get back to you within 24 hours of your inquiry.

Absolutely!! We believe that relationships impact or are impacted by most personal “non-relationship” issues. We will meet you where you are and help you manage whatever is affecting your mental health. We utilize a solutions-focused and cognitive-behavioral approach to help you meet your goals. This means we will examine and work on changing negative thoughts and behaviors in conjunction.

Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment will not be subject to any penalty or cancellation fees. If you are a no show or have failed to cancel within the 24 hour window, you will be required to pay the session fee. If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, please contact me as soon as possible to avoid paying for the missed session.

A first session is really an initial assessment of the problems you are facing as an individual, couple or family. We aim to get a good snapshot of what is troubling you, as well as how we will be able to help; we ask about you and your goals, go over a few therapy logistics, and begin to formulate a treatment plan.

Of course. Often one person is the change agent in their relationship. We work with clients to eventually engage both partners; however, we often come up with an individual treatment plan to help you accomplish some realistic goals for yourself.
